“Transitions - Successfully Navigating Menopause”
If you are a woman who is entering into or in the midst of menopause then come to this full day workshop where you will learn how to deal with the issues most common to this time of transition: weight gain, hot flashes, and diminished sex drive. Whole-foods, nutrient dense breakfast and lunch will be served.
A new way of thinking about menopause
Contemporary society sees this phase in life as a problem without a positive solution. Without a clear solution or support system many women believe the quality of their lives will continue to diminish from this point onwards, succumbing to weight gain, lost libido, and synthetic hormone replacement therapy. In this workshop participants will find a new perspective and experience menopause as an opportunity to enter a new phase of creativity, a time to build a strong and dynamic foundation for the rest of their lives. Hands on practical solutions in the form of diet, exercise and acupuncture will turn this time of your life into creative potential as opposed to impending disaster.
