In response to many requests from women all over the world, we are very happy to offer an “encore” of the first day of the Women Forging the Future virtual seminar, led by Dr. Elizabeth Debold and her colleagues at EnlightenNext in November 2010. This seminar is directed towards those of us educated Western women who now have more freedom of choice than any women in history. But the question is: what are we doing with those freedoms? Are we actually discovering greater meaning and deeper purpose? Are we contributing to the evolution of our culture? Research shows that as a gender, we are less happy today than our foremothers were before the 1960s revolution. Why? Perhaps because we no longer have a role to make us secure in our purpose-being a wife and mother is now just one option among many. In gaining options, we’ve not found a new essential purpose that puts wind in our sails, empowering us to reach higher and challenge our limits. Where and how do we find a new motivation to move forward, evolve who we are, and become creative agents of lasting change?
In this special encore of A Call to Evolve, you will hear the recordings from the original virtual retreat held last November. In addition, Dr. Elizabeth Debold and her EnlightenNext colleague Mary Adams will join us for Q&A and live discussion so that you have the chance to engage with them directly.
In this virtual seminar, you will learn:
